This problem solving journal details the problems I have so far encountered during my production stage, and the research/experimentation I have done to combat them.

The first bit of problem solving during production was having to work out how the mechanism of my train wheels would move. This problem was solved by looking at videos of actual train wheels, which helped me understand how the pistons move quite simply. This problem helped me better understand the importance of using references during production.

The second bit of problem solving I encountered was that I found myself having issues with the rotobrush tool, not letting me edit it properly. This problem caused by my video framerate being different to the compositions, something I found out myself, and was fixed by simply re-exporting the video in premire in 30fps. This problem helped me better understand some of the technical aspects that come with video editing, especially in after effects.
Lastly, on the same day, my problem was that I needed to collect some feedback on my current progress, as I felt there might need to be some touch-ups and improvements made. This problem was solved with some primary research, conducting a survey asking my target audience their opinions on some of my current work. This problem helped me understand the importance of constantly looking back, and thinking about what can be improved.
